New range of craftsman gloves from Guide

– hard-wearing, attractive, practical, washable and affordable

Guide is launching a completely new range of premium gloves for craftsmen. The gloves are made from a high-performance material that allows them to “breathe”. They are also very resilient, ergonomically designed and dry quickly after washing. Despite this they offer the same level of protection and durability as heavy leather gloves.

Guide has also developed a system that clearly classifies gloves by performance, ease of use and durability, to simplify the task of finding the right glove to suit different tasks and weather conditions.

The premium range is made up of six models for a wide range of applications, and will reach stores in autumn. Besides offering high-quality materials and performance, it was Guide’s ambition that each model in the new range of craftsman gloves should have a distinctive appearance.

“Our styling is very popular, and gloves that use attractive designs and colours make it easier for users to recognise their favourite model when the time comes to replace them. We feel it is only natural that the gloves you use at work should be good-looking too,” says Åsa Lindberg Svensson, Product Manager for Guide at Skydda.

The gloves are washable and made of a very hard-wearing material, which makes them a wise investment. In one way they are like a pair of favourite new jeans. After you have worn them and washed them a few times you get that reassuring feeling that they fit perfectly. Stylish and practical reinforcements in areas of heavy wear also ensure these gloves last a long time.

Six different models launched in autumn

The six models in Guide’s new range of craftsman gloves launched this autumn are Guide 1, Guide 2, Guide 3, Guide 4, Guide 6 and Guide 7.

Guide 1 is a short glove that ends at the wrist. It combines good protection with maximum comfort and freedom of movement for the wearer, and comes in a distinctive shade of orange. It also has a rubber nametag that you can write your name on to clearly identify your gloves.

Guide 2 has pre-bent seams which make it easy to grasp items and make this glove very hard-wearing. The top of the thumb also has a terry cloth patch that is useful for wiping your forehead.

Guide 3 has the same design as Guide 2, but with increased visibility thanks to hi-viz Spandex and reflective panels. Improved visibility enhances safety as well as making it easier to find your gloves if you forget where you have put them.

Guide 4 has a special super-grip covering. The inner face has a textured silicone surface that effectively never wears out. This is ideal in warehouses and goods handling, where it makes work considerably easier. The glove naturally provides the right level of protection and is comfortable to wear. Available in blue/black with nametag.

Guide 6 is a wind-tight and water-tight glove in a hard-wearing material. It does not let in moisture and keeps hands dry by allowing heat and moisture from your hand to escape through the breathable material. This glove is fully lined to keep in warmth on cold, damp days. Available in grey-black with red detailing.

Guide 7 is a mitt with a five-finger inner glove that is very hard-wearing and extra warm for really cold winter days. It can also be used as a shell glove. This model also has a snow lock, Velcro fastening and zipped pocket.
